Matti is the Head of Engineering Management at Viaplay, Nordic Entertainment Group where he sits on the product leadership team to govern its streaming product, manage improvement projects and organisational changes. Matti has a passion for enabling and shaping teams to create cross-functional and inclusive organisations. In his current role, Matti manages 6 Engineering Managers across 12 high performing and autonomous product teams.
Matti holds 10 years of experience in fast-paced agile environments, working with successful leadership teams in organizations of +300 people. Matti has engaged in roles in a variety of sectors such as media, fintech and gaming. He worked at King, home of Candy Crush Saga, as a Studio Agile Director and previously worked with Avanza Bank, leading a team of engineers to ensure the running of the exchange network.
