She has worked in human factors in sectors such as aeronautics, automobile, and industrial risks. She collaborated on projects in the tourism and cultural sectors, banking, insurance, e-commerce, among others. Currently, she works as Manager of the Experience Centre of Excellence at Banco Pichincha Ecuador. She is focused on creating a human-centric culture and design thinking at scale. She implements the customer experience (CX) and employee experience (EX) strategy within the organization. She is focused on building inclusive services and products in order to create positive change in society. She is motivated by social impact, ethical design, and inclusive design.
She is co-founder of the corporation UXPA Ecuador; the benchmark for Usability and UX in Ecuador.

In this talk, Daphne will talk through the journey of success that her and her team at Banco Pichincha as they build and establish a human centered design culture in Ecuador's oldest bank. She will talk through:

  • The experimental process that incorporates cross functional teams;
  • How they continue to ensure that the culture is deeply engrained through the onboarding model; and
  • What changes she foresees to improve the efficiency of the teams
