Accessibility is not just one project; it's a state of mind that needs to be adopted by all personas inside agile squads. This workshop focuses on embedding accessibility practices throughout the entire product lifecycle, from the initial design phase to the final product release. This holistic approach aims to equip cross-functional teams with the necessary tools to create inclusive products and cater to all users and markets, including those with disabilities.
Key Learning Outcomes:
- Understand how to incorporate accessibility at every stage of the product lifecycle, from pre-design to launch.
- Explore various manual and automated tools to facilitate accessibility and learn best practices tailored to different team sizes and companies.
- Tailor accessibility approaches to the needs of different team members, including designers, developers, product managers, and QA engineers.
- Engage in hands-on activities and practise incorporating accessibility right from the start.
This workshop is specifically tailored to the entire agile squad, including designers, developers, product managers, QA engineers, and UX researchers who aim to integrate accessibility seamlessly into their product development processes.
