Vihar (he/him) is a Sr. Product Designer at Shopify where he primarily works on shipping and delivery products. His current focus is on improving experiences specific to addresses for Shopify merchants and their customers.
Vihar likes to see the world from a UX lens. He often tries to amalgamate his manufacturing engineering background with design by applying concepts like lean, just-in-time, and poka-yoke to his UX processes and solutions.
He is passionate about creating data-informed, accessible, and inclusive designs. He loves design documentation and storytelling, shows high care for micro-UX and design fluidity, and values cohesiveness over consistency. Vihar likes to work on non-trivial problems and finds fun working with imperfect or incomplete information. He loves to break down complex concepts using analogies and examples.
