Sarah has worked in human-centred design and product/service design for over 20 years. She is currently Head of Design at Domain Property Group in Australia.
With a start as web ‘mistress’ for theatre companies in London, followed by a series of interactive multimedia pursuits and a significant stint in financial services she has a wide range of designerly experiences.
An early career highlight in archaeology set the tone for wanting to understand humans in their contexts. Sarah has since sought to bring humanity into the workplace through studies in empathy and business coaching. She finds the subject of feedback intriguing, as it’s key to the success of any organisation that delivers products and services and yet has such a brand problem.
This session of the program is designed to highlight the importance of feedback, in particular the role of leaders in role modelling how to seek and receive feedback in product and design teams.
