Kai has worked within the BBC for 11 years. In her current role, Kai looks after the UX&Design internal systems and tools for BBC Digital and Engineering divisions. A large part of the role includes growing the UX&Design capability, education and practice to provide the systems and tools for the BBC across Production and Enterprise. Kai has held a number of positions at the BBC including almost 4 years as BBC's Creative Director. She was also BBC's Senior Interaction Designer where she lead a team of designers on Audience Facing Services, such as BBC iD, user features - commenting, blogs, social features, and automated programme support. Kai has also held senior design positions in GCap Media, Conchango and BSkyB to name a few.
