UXDX Community: Creating Sticky, AI-Enhanced Products: From User Behavior to Business Impact 2024
23 October 2024
Diving into the heart of innovative product development, this presentation advocates for a departure from traditional vanity metrics toward a focus on genuine behavioural change, introducing a pioneering framework that redefines product success by the impact of features on user behaviour. It starts with defining every feature based on the behaviour they change, which are connected to the satisfaction of user outcomes and, ultimately, the driving of business impact, what I call the User Outcome Connection. The talk then explores the art and science of determining when to use AI in your solution and properly designing it into a transformative feature. Attendees will leave ready to define their features in a novel way that aids in choosing whether AI should be used for the benefit of their user.
