How To Get Alignment With Tough Stakeholders

Too often we start our projects with a brief and vague direction, and without even understanding what our stakeholders really want. Sometimes they don't really know, either! In this workshop, Creative Director Cindy Brummer will guide you through a vision session, what it is, why you should run one and how a vision session can align the product and keep everyone focused on the project.

This session will understand how to:

  • Identify key stakeholders early
  • How to setup alignment early
  • Running a vision session - Stakeholder Journey Mapping
  • Mitigating risk: How to avoid conflict and consequences

The advantages of functional programming with Clojure

Are you familiar with the concept of functional programming? A process of building software avoiding everything that could be a problem in the future, such as shared state, mutable data and side effects, only by composing pure math functions. I had never put a thought in that until I discovered the enlightening and overwhelming way of programming in Clojure.

Community is one part of how UXDX helps teams build better products.

Local events help people learn from peers and build their network. The reports, ebooks and knowledge library turn those conversations into practical ideas teams can apply.
