Lead Designer
Product design leader and UX strategist at USAA in Austin, with a background spanning UX and UI, interaction design, information architecture, and service and process design. I specialise in turning complex problems into clear, usable experiences and facilitation-led outcomes, backed by NN/g UX Management certification and LUMA Human-Centred Design credentials. Outside of client work, I build and share through illustration and motion work, volunteer accessibility and usability audits for non-profits, and support the Austin UX community as a UXDX ambassador.

Josh Kimmell is a Principal Designer, formerly at IBM and Netspend, specializing in platforms with a rich, multidisciplinary design background. Known as a "full-stack" designer, Josh has developed a unique "square" T-shaped skillset, combining deep expertise with broad experience across branding, software development, and product design. A strong advocate for the user, he ensures that user needs are central to every project. His ability to lead cross-discipline teams, foster collaboration, and unite diverse stakeholders around common goals has been key to his success.
