UX FTW – Customer-Centric Value Creation with a Jobs-To-Be-Done Mindset
UX FTW – Customer-Centric Value Creation with a Jobs-To-Be-Done Mindset
When is a feature or product useful and valuable? What do users really need? What potential improvements is the customer really willing to pay for? The problem is not having too few ideas, the real challenge is prioritization based on the most relevant customer needs.
It is risky to start a project with an idea or “solution”. At TeamViewer, we developed the Customer-Centric Value Creation Framework and a research tool. With a pragmatic approach based on the Jobs-To-Be-Done mindset, we actively involve representative users in product development, quantify qualitative user insights and prioritize the most relevant jobs and needs before proceeding to ideation, solution finding and development.
In the talk I will present an overview of this approach.
