Designing for Highly Technical Domains

Designing user experiences for highly technical domains can seem like being in a perpetual state of discomfort. Not only can it be challenging to ramp up and understand the complex domain, but it can also be challenging to get access to users and work with stakeholders who may or may not have previous experience working with designers.
