I am currently on Google’s Project Starline team designing the future of remote communication. Previously, I created rapid prototypes that improve people’s daily life at Google AR/VR, and researched the social presence and emotional impact of lifelike avatars at Facebook Reality Lab.
Born in Inner Mongolia, I grew up among the rolling prairies and Gobi, and a simple way of life. I believe in people’s real connection with each other, and with nature. Now living in Mountain View, California, I continue to create emotional, human, and sustainable software and hardware.
Outside of work, I love taking care of plants, snowboarding, and helping aspiring designers to jump-start their careers.
