Ian is a passionate and experienced software engineer, enjoying the challenges and journey as part of a great team at ParcelVision. He has spent many years working across the spectrum of realising solutions to business problems. He has worked in everything from frontend to backend and gained an immense appreciation of how everybody contributes value in solving business problems. He believes in involving everybody at the right time and is a keen Domain Driven Design practitioner. Much like during the age of discovery where we discovered new lands previously unknown and added these to our existing maps, today we have a plethora of collaborative mapping tools at our disposal to help us discover bounded contexts and build on existing combined knowledge. Ian believes no one person is more powerful than the collective and spends a lot of his time exploring how we can realise, validate, and improve this.
