When SAFe (or similar) adds layers without changing behaviours, teams ship more features but don’t move the needle. In this session, Ather and Aitor show how Ørsted is moving from static reporting and stakeholder “orders” to a live, transparent system that links day-to-day work with strategic outcomes.
Key learnings:
- Use the Decision Stack to link business goals to product outcomes and team-level execution, enabling clarity and strategic focus across the organisation.
- Replace static reports with live dashboards of products, portfolio and delivery performance.
- Design and operationalise adoption & satisfaction frameworks led by UX, tied to product decisions.
- Build a vertical “signal path” from developer metrics to leadership decisions, including practices for tackling cultural resistance to transparency.
- Balance product management time across strategy, delivery, insights and technology so product managers don’t over-index and only measure in on one quadrant.
