Get rid of those fictional user personas! Synthesize like a pro.

In a world where user needs are evolving, how do we as UX Designers make sound design decisions without using inherently stereotypical tools such as User Personas? How can we glean maximum insights from UX research and visualise this data for good design decision-making purposes?

Affinity maps. User story cards. Journey maps. User flows.

You see, the essence of UX research is watered down with the standard user persona as it relies on surface-level information and is unable to provide deep insights needed for making key design decisions.

This session will be led by Grace, LinkedIn’s Top Voice in Design where you will learn:
1. Why those user personas are merely stereotypical and lean more towards fiction than reality,
2. Effective alternatives for data visualization, and
3. How to synthesize your research data to make effective design decisions

Community is one part of how UXDX helps teams build better products.

Local events help people learn from peers and build their network. The reports, ebooks and knowledge library turn those conversations into practical ideas teams can apply.
