Building Websites for Humans and AI
Large Language Models are changing how people discover and interact with the web. Increasingly, websites are not just consumed by humans — they are read, interpreted and acted upon by AI assistants and autonomous agents.
This talk explores how to prepare websites for this new reality. Florian will cover structured content, semantic markup, emerging standards such as MCP and WebMCP, and modern web architectures that make websites easier for AI to understand and interact with. He will also explore how the same technologies enable generative websites, where experiences are dynamically composed for each visitor rather than authored as static pages.
The result is a new way of thinking about the web: not just as pages for people, but as knowledge and capabilities that can be understood by both humans and AI.
