Jane's passion for design and creating great experiences brought her from Malaysia, Canada, Indonesia, and finally to the UK. She had worked with various companies, from agencies to startups, and now as Product Design Lead at HSBC. Her experiences working with cultural teams and launching products in different markets had allowed her to bridge businesses to make meaningful products. She is passionate about building great design teams, enabling them to create great experiences, and helping companies to scale their user-centred approach.

Moderated by Richard Dalton, this panel outlines how to create and sustain a user-centered culture within a team and extend that throughout the organisation.
What if you're working on a product where ease of use for users might actually not be the best thing for them? What if adding frictions is not just important, but essential? Where do you even begin to start designing then?
In this talk, Jane will share the ups and downs of working with the security team for a banking app, as well as learnings she has experienced so far..
