Lead Design Researcher
Caylie is a UX Researcher at Atlassian. She has previously worked at Coles Group, SEEK, and National Australia Bank. She also runs the Design Research Melbourne meetup.
Caylie fell into Design Research by accident during her time at NAB, and never climbed back out.
Her experiences at NAB, SEEK and Coles not only focused on conducting product research to answer questions and uncover opportunities, but also educating these businesses on the value of research and how to do it effectively.
Caylie believes it's important to democratise research to increase customer empathy and understanding, while balancing this with rigour and support to ensure accurate insight.
