Rhi Bell (they/them) is the VP of Search UX, having previously led Search Ads, they lead the charge in crafting a modern, intuitive, and delightful search experience for billions of users worldwide. Rhi has been passionate about design, UX, and the power of the internet since the early days, starting with the BBC's early efforts into digital and later leading design for Zynga, where they launched Words With Friends. Rhi went on to build and scale the UX team at NerdWallet before coming to Google, where they've been ever since. From working on Zynga pivot to mobile-first to helping NerdWallet make finance more accessible to a younger generation, Rhi's leadership focus has centered on driving home a user-centric, empathetic view within product organizations and elevating the craft of design. Outside work, Rhi loves gardening, video gaming, and spending time with their wife Jen, daughter Olly, and adorably grouchy cat Favabean.
