Senior UX Research Manager
Nazish has a PhD in Sociology from Johns Hopkins University, where she specialised in the survival and growth of small businesses. Her appreciation for the lively place of small businesses in society led her to launching an online photo-documentary called Shopkeeper Stories where she celebrates the wisdom offered by each business owner. Her research has taken her around the world including Russia, Brazil, USA, and Indonesia. Nazish is currently based in Singapore where she leads the regional Design Strategy & Research team at Grab.

UX Research In Times Of Covid-19
Grab has always encouraged the value that any user research should be in market: travelling to the different markets to learn and experience the users journeys themselves; but with the Covid-19 pandemic this method was out of the question. In this talk, Nazish and Henny will discuss how Grab pivoted their research methods and behaviours to adapt to the current global situation that still allows them to connect and understand their users.
