I’m a senior product designer leading design for growth at Oviva, a health tech company focused on weight-related conditions. Outside of my day job I teach UX/UI design in the digital women program at ReDI School of Digital Integration, a non-profit tech school providing migrants and marginalized locals access to digital education.

Designing for Trust: Healthcare Platform Challenges

This talk is about designing for acquisition in the world of Digital Health Applications (DiGAs), a totally new landscape of products emerged in the last few years. Marjo will share how they tackle growth at Oviva, a leading German DiGA. For DiGAs, users don't only need to be eligible, but they need a doctor's prescription AND an insurance approval to get started - a process very different from typical consumer products. Marjo will talk about how they build for trust and guide users through a complex, multi-stakeholder funnel.
