Joe Mauriello is a UX Research Manager at Docusign, where he has spent the past eight years pioneering frameworks that bridge the gap between deep research and rapid delivery. By applying conversation theory and multi-order cybernetics to team orchestration, Joe helps siloed product teams shift from isolated feature-thinking to unified platform innovation. He is a lead architect of Docusign’s Audience Research program, which utilizes "Wow Moments"—strategic boundary objects where customer pain points meet platform solutions—to align cross-functional teams around high-impact JTBD. Previously, Joe led game design research at Amplify Education for award-winning educational titles. When he isn't at work, he's helping people collaborate better online. Joe is a dedicated family man and the keeper of two ranchu goldfish: Darwin and Angel.
