Benjamin George is a Staff Product Designer at Shopify, where he focuses on making commerce better for everyone. Before Shopify, Ben has built lean design teams at ReferralCandy, FreshMenu, and Sourcebits. He has promoted design thinking and worked on zero-to-one initiatives that have helped grow the company. He’s values collaboration, honesty, and balancing a thoughtful approach with accelerated action to get measurable outcomes. In addition to teaching courses on design, Ben trains and mentors UX designers at all levels. His dog Juno likes to show up on video calls as a surprise guest from time to time.
