A seasoned researcher currently dedicated to giving back to the community through educational events, mentoring, writing about UX, and finding new places where research could make a difference. Hosting and organizing my first-ever full-day workshop conference on UX Transformation in October with my UX partner in crime!
My curiosity about research I owe to my education in Sociology. To be honest, looking back at the time, I didn't even realize how many aspects of life these foundational research skills could be applied to - from critical thinking to being vigilant about your own biases - both in personal and professional aspects.
Going through some challenging and different fields helped me become the strategy-oriented UX-er I am now and shaped my interest in optimizing the overall UX process apart from daily driving all things research.
My staples are always: making research insights relatable, digestible, measurable, and exciting for everyone involved in the development process. I'm proud to say I've contributed to the improvement of more than 20 products and services across multiple fields and I'm deeply grateful to the many hundreds of people across the globe I have had the chance to partner and collaborate with.
Coming from different fields of operation (B2B, B2C and internally facing UX) I love combining different methods and approaches (sometimes this calls for being scrappy, coming up with something new or just letting go of an idea!) to achieve custom-fitted processes to ensure multiple data points are triangulated and results are operational.
I also love working on discoveries, testing new ideas, and exploring unknown fields. Among applying various evaluative frameworks and methods in the qual and quant realm, I am very passionate about ResearchOps and Product Management, and always happy to share some knowledge, help provide ideas, and workshop out the next challenge.
