Colleague experience, or as it's still often called Employee experience, is important component of the overall UX maturity of an organisation. As UX professionals, we tend to focus on our product delivery and experience while forgetting that our colleagues too use processes, systems and tools in order to do their best work. And often, those are critical in terms of their productivity, job satisfaction and overall well-being. As UX professionals we need to refocus our efforts - good experiences should not be limited to end users only, and we need to take care of our colleagues/employees in the same way we do with our customers. Providing delightful experiences to employees and seamless interactions (with IT support, finance, HR tools etc.) will be the key differentiator between regular employers and great destination companies who truly value their talent.
