In 2016, Gretchen asked a simple but disruptive question:
“We know the power of scrimmage in sports teams to develop teams. Isn’t it time we do the same for design and innovation work?”
As the founder and CEO of DTLiveLAB and former Executive Director of the Innovation center teaching MBA students and executives at at The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business, Gretchen’s mission is to make design thinking and design collaboration accessible to everyone. She believes people
who see the whole picture are better positioned to solve the right problem.
Gretchen spent the first 20 years of her career finding new opportunities to create value through design thinking for hundreds of Fortune 500 clients, and now she’s sharing those learnings with you. Using real-world projects, she creates uniquely effective design scrimmages that build skills, fast, while having fun. In the last 12 years, she has inspired countless people to discover their inherent design thinking capabilities and grow their impact.
