David has been working in the software dev industry for 30 years and has been building and leading development teams for over 15 of those years, working in companies such as Oracle, Full Tilt Poker and Zalando. As the need for speed and innovation increases in today's creative economy, David thinks the biggest question facing us today, is how we create great work environments where people are motivated and committed to solving today's complex problems. And love doing so. To aid in this goal, David is currently doing an Masters in Work and Organisational Behaviour in DCU with specific interests and research in the areas of self-determination theory, team autonomy, employee motivation, commitment and engagement in a hi-tech organisation
