David Boundy

David leads Intel Labs energy research agenda and Intel's engagement in the SAP - Intel Collaboratory, a joint research collaboration based in SAP Belfast. The labs research focus is centred on the role of ICT in driving sustainability with specific emphasis on renewable energy integration and cloud computing. David also represents Intel Labs Europe on a number of external forums including the Dublin Research Observatory, SmartOcean, SmartBay, and the iMERC Technical Advisory Group. In addition he currently leads a variety of research and applied research initiatives in the areas of smart infrastructures and energy systems services. In the past has been engaged in research roles in a variety of European Union Framework projects.
