I love bringing efficiency and simplicity to digital interfaces and services. I am currently focused on delivering outstanding interaction design to Trade Execution, Post-Trade processing, Price Discovery, Portfolio Analytics and Management at Bloomberg LP.
I find great strength in having worked on both sides of the software life cycle: design and delivery as user experience designer and producer; client-side design and implementation as a consultant. I have consulted for 15+ international banks and hedge funds and this direct user experience continues to give me mountains of empathy for every user profile in the B2B software sphere including configurator, administrator and business user.
I have held positions in software production, UX project management and client implementation delivery. I learn quickly, am a highly rated trainer, can kickstart and lead new initiatives, organize teams to deliver projects, bring creativity to improving and innovating processes and work effectively with everyone.

Upcoming Talks
14 May 2025
With 9,000+ engineers and a product landscape centered around real-time financial data, Bloomberg is a unique environment for UX to thrive - or get lost.
Ash Brown, Global Head of UX, shares what it takes to embed user-centric practices across a complex and engineering-driven organization.
From leading a global team of 150+ designers, researchers, and product documentation specialists to navigating the cultural shift toward UX specialization, Ash has driven change not by chasing visibility but by building internal champions and systems that scale.
This fireside chat explores how they are measuring design impact when client-facing products are released across the desktop, web, and mobile apps, what it means to introduce AI into an already mature UX practice, and how to maintain a focus on the highest priorities amidst endless stakeholder requests.
Ash will also reflect on the evolving role of design in financial software and the realities of advocating for research-led decisions in B2B environments that were not originally built with UX in mind.
